4/26/2023，3Fulgear has modified the door design of the lanshan series, the original arc L, now the double L zipper design（above）. We all think this update is very good. 

The difference between silpoly and silnylon:
Silpoly absorbs less water than silnylon and deforms slightly less.
Silnylon is slightly stronger than silpoly.
In actual experience, the difference is minimal; choosing the right fabric depends on your preference.

Advice: If you love the outdoors, whether you're thinking about it for the short or long term, I hope you don't buy cheap tents on Amazon. Why? Because these products are basically produced in Zhejiang Province, China, I used to work for 2 years.

The biggest role of tents is to provide a comfortable space for us to spend a quiet night outdoors, shelter from the wind and rain, and at the same time we want to keep the weight and volume as small as possible.

The quality of Amazon's hot-selling tents under £150 is really average, basically you will have problems after using it a few times, because the fabric is low-end 210T Polyester, and the weight is relatively heavy, basically a single/double tent is more than 2kg, It feels hard to the touch and the fabric starts to brittle after a while in the sun/rain. If you look carefully, they are basically vague about product material specifications.

The fabric cost of 15D/20D Silicon coated nylon is much more expensive than that of 210T Polyester, with better soft hand feel, lighter weight and better waterproof effect. Basically, expensive tents are made of high-quality nylon, followed by the more expensive 10D.

There are also various types of aluminum poles. At present, the highest quality is the Korean company DAC Poles, which is used in MSR tents, but the overall price of the tents is more than 350 pounds. 3F uses 7001 Aluminum alloy, the price is lower, although the performance is not as good as DAC Poles, but it is enough for most ordinary outdoor enthusiasts. If you pursue the ultimate, the use scene is often harsh rain environment, you can pursue Expensive tent.

The material cost accounts for less than 20% of the selling price, I'm sure. Because 40% of the selling price is Amazon advertising fee, storage fee, and 15% commission fee. The rest of the cost is return fees, ocean freight, factory staff and management salaries, logistics fees, and finally, profits. Amazon sellers will not choose better fabrics, otherwise the price will increase, and the sales ranking in Amazon's top position will not be high. So the best tents on sale are under £100. These tents are generally used for 1 year, and the fabric begins to crack and seep.

To tell the truth, I had planned to put 3F products on Amazon, but the price would be much more expensive than on Camperlists, selling products on our website, basically no expensive marketing fees.

In fact, in China, the proportion of 3F tent sales is actually very small. Chinese people think that the price of 3F products is high, and they will not buy them at all. The tents with the largest sales volume are like the low-priced tents with the largest sales volume on Amazon. So the biggest market for 3F products is the UK, France and the US and other developed countries, not China.

I think the products of 3F and Naturehike have achieved a relatively good price balance. The product quality meets the needs of mass consumers, and the price is also accepted, because in addition to tents, there are many products that need to be consumed, such as sleeping bags, backpacks, clothes and shoes.

I suggest to also buy the footprint, 20D Signle Side Silicon nylon(waterproof 4000mm), weight about 140g (1 person), In Amazon, the same price you only buy cheap Polyester(waterproof 2000mm), and tear resistance, 20D signle Silicon nylon is much better),
