First night we were caught in a six hour mountain thunder storm and they were completely dry. It is not a tent for large adults. A cosy 2 person or a spacious 1 person tent with 2 spacious vestibules on both sides. It has stood up to some strong winds at high elevation (unsure of mph) without a peg or guy rope becoming loose. It??s fairly easy to put up by 1 person but more care is needed in the winds if pitching alone. The only negative I experienced with this tent is the separate roof cover can be a little annoying to put on as it needs to go on a certain way and is harder in winds, however that is a nit picking negative. I wouldn??t describe this tent as a true 4 season tent, but i will do in mild winter conditions. All-round great tent.

I really like this tent, it's got room a bit of height and it's easy to pitch. I have tried it in very windy weather and it held its own also rain is no problem as it's already seem sealed. A lot of tent for the money. They seem to be sold out at most places so I guess that's testimony enough.

Bought this for backpacking with the missus and the odd wild camp. Only pitched in the garden to date but very impressed so far and had a comfortable nights sleep. Definitely not a 4 season tent as the fly does not reach the ground but as I don't intend to camp in sub zero temperatures on the winter solstice this is not a concern. Fly and inner pitch in one and very spacious inside with two generous vestibules for gear etc. The two entrances mean I can position the tent to take advantage of sunsets and sunrises and also more convenient for the loo in the night. Modelled on the Hilleburg Allak 2 but around 1kg lighter and nearly a 6th of the price I'd say this tent is very good value for money. Go for it unless you are an ultra serious wild camper or have very deep pockets. The only reason I haven't given an overall rating of 5 is the weight but don't be put off.

I've put this up in my garden to trial assembly. Tent meets my expectations, though this will be put to the test in just under two weeks on a solo hike. However, my purpose for this preliminary review is to show that the sleeping area inner tent door access has changed. Whereas before the near centre had a vertical zip, this has now been resigned for a single zip that runs in an arc, creating a single doorway each side. This is not necessarily an issue (I can see how this reduces production costs), I'm a little disappointed as the smaller secondary door would be useful to access the open ventricle during rain; and was one of my reasons for buying this tent. Still a minor point, and I'll be able to test the effectiveness of the redesign.

had 2 nights out with it on the trot around Cader Idris, wild camping. Packed up easily after the first night into my bergen ready for a yomp and pitched really easily (even when quite fatigued). Rained on the first night and inside was dry with only a little bit of internal moisture build-up. Make sure vents are open as soon as you set it up or I can imagine the internal build-up of moisture would be worse.

The tent worked great. Two weeks straight on a camping trip, one rain produced nearly 2 inches, remained bone dry the whole time. Only downfall is folding it up. Once I figure out how to do it it��s very easy but it takes a muscle memory. I recommend setting it up and then collapsing it several times to get the hang of it when you first get it. Other than that, we had no issues and I would highly recommend it.

Arrived on time with everything as it should be. Poles clip in at base and just have hangers higher up so no sleeves to push the poles into making it quick to erect and take down. Tent is very robust / sturdy ( probably a very good 3 season rather than the full extremes of 4 season but I��ve had no issues with it so far. Plenty of room for two including two entrances with reasonable porch space for cooking / storing kit. Well made with neat seams etc. I��m using the footprint as well to protect the base as I like the tent and want it to last. I might consider some longer pegs but so far the supplied ones have worked well Glad I bought it

So like many people I had seen videos of this on YouTube singing it's praises and stating the limitations. I think for average Joe hiker like me it's spot on. Yes the door style has changed from the T style to a bottom roll up. I expect this was cheaper to manufacture hence why it replaced the old style. On a positive with less seams it should be a little less drafty (in theory). Tent does feel sturdy and well made however like many people say I would call this a 3+ season tent. Handling milder winter weather but probably unsuitable for blizzards in the cairngorm a. I'm happy with the tent as it has enough space for me and my daughter and dog go so really it achieves what I wanted. Because of the design I can let my daughter carry small bits of it to begin with and then add as she grows. The tent isn't so heavy I can't manage it solo. I'm happy with it

I really like this tent for solo wild camping. It is a 3 season two man tent (at a push). You could buy 4 of these tents for the price of a Hilliberg. My only worries are the thickness of the poles, would they stand up to winds of more than 40mph? The guy ropes and tent pegs were a bit flimsy but I replaced them before my first outing

They tent this is exactly the same as is do out of my budget I bought this instead. Very impressed , dead easy to pitch even by yourself in windy conditions . Held up well to a stormy night , no flapping or leaks at all. Save your money but this instead unless heading to Himalayas

I just ordered my second one. I haven't used it in the winter but I bought it for winter camping. As soon as I put the tent together I could see the difference in the construction against my other lightweight 3 season tent. It is very well made and a quality tent. I'm not sure if I would recommend this tent for the summer because I can see it getting hot inside. This is a winter tent and a very nice one.

Using this for a three and a half week camping trip around snowdonia with the girlfriend i left it in the garden for a few nights in the worst rain wales could offer it was bone dry inside for 3 nights .... I will update this when ive come back of my three and a half week trip were really going to push this little 2 man tent to its limits belive me

Amazing little tent, lightweight but kept out a rainstorm with no problems. one slight design i would love the manufacturer to improve, would be to make it so that rainwater doesn't run into the doorway when it's opened to come in or go out . it tends to run off the cap and into the inner tent area. other than that i found it great on my recent holiday to Exmoor.

I didn��t use this for hiking, so I can��t give a review about size/space/weight. But I did use it in cold weather (mid 30��s) and the tent performed well. As you can see from my picture the ground was very rocky and the tent survived with no rips or tears. I��d buy it again, cheap and worked well. My tent was shipped packaged inside out, so figuring that out in the dark took a couple minutes, but once I got that done, setup was simple and straight forward. You can put two people in here, but if you��re over 6�� you��ll hafta curl up for sure.

Took this for cycling, drove only around the lake of Ladoga. The flight is normal) after processing the seams with silicone, nowhere was it leaked, although the whole night was raining. For processing took the usual silicone and stirred with gasoline galosh to liquid state, so that the silicone fit well into the seams. The tent is light, well compressed by a complete transport bag. Together with a carbon stick, the hiking weight is less than 1 kg.

This is a good tent very easy to pitch with the exterior pole set-up, pitch with inner tent attached also with the ground sheet too . I found it to be pretty stable in winds of around 60.kmh (gusts) I didn't need to use the guy ropes on my Wales trips but would recommend in very open area's. Plenty of room inside with 2 quite large vestibule. Its not in my opinion a true 4 season tent as it doesn't come all the way to the floor so will let snow blow underneath. Its also very well ventilated. Overall I like it it , easy to pitch and about 1m of headroom inside.

This tent has light weight, so even a 7years old child with a adult still can easy to set up this tent! we never even read the instructions. I set it up in our spare room in about 5minutes, Not only was it easy to set up... it was very easy to take down and actually put back into it's packaging for storage, no fussing or cramming required, it appears they did their homework when it came to Common Sense features, The ventilation and airflowwere good, Lightweight easy for backpacking.
