Really great product, the quality may not be as great as some, but the design might as well be just as good, the rain fly design really makes a huge difference, really helps keep the condensation to a minimum, while still retaining heat really well. Although I have yet to be in a rain storm, it keeps the water off of you, and it's very well vented

I took this tent on a cycling tour across the US. The design has good ventilation and plenty of space for the weight. It stood up to high winds and even heavy wet snow well. The draw back to this design is that wet snow can collect on top. I did have to bang the snow off during the night to keep it from crushing the tent, the poles seemed to handle the weight but I didn't want to risk it. Sat through at least one thunderstorm dry and comfy and reading the day away. The design has good ventilation and plenty of space for the weight. The Silnylon is light but durable and VERY waterproof. Be aware that the silnylon floor will be slippery for any nylon inflatable mats, which can be an issue if you pitch on a slight incline. i solved this with some grip liner, though there are some inflatable mats with built in grip texture for this reason. This is luxurious space for one person, and cozy for two, but still livable with having two separate entrances and vestibules. There is plenty of headroom to sit up and change clothes. The only fault I had was a stitch for one of the hooks on the inner net came loose after the first couple of pitches, but it was an easy fix with a needle and thread. I'd recommend you pitch a few times before leaving on a trip to make sure there aren't any issues you can fix at home. All in all this is an exceptional deal for a lightweight tent. It's not the lightest out there, but you'd have to spend double or more to get all these features (silnylon, double entrance, footprint, gear loft) for just a few grams of weight savings.

I spent quite a bit of time looking for a solid 2 person tent, then stumbled on this Gem, what can I say its just aswsome. This tent is the absolute best bang for your buck. Go buy one you will not regret it. also I read some reviews that said the fly does not fit, complete BS fits like a glove, perhaps they got a defective one.

Having two kids in Boy Scouts, I needed a third tent in a hurry due to overlapping camping trips. I purchased this tent based solely on the reviews and was pleasantly surprise by the quality, weight and ease of setup. We arrived at the campsite after dark and I set up the tent for the first time with only a headlamp for light. The pole assembly was single piece and the tent hooks were simple and self explanatory. A bonus is the included ground cover.

Great tent, great price, and it��s pink!!!! I just love it. Easy to set up. Really comfortable size for 1 if you like room, but totally adequate space for 2 as well. I have only tested it in good weather, but it seems to be well insulated and stable. I was very comfortable. I marked off one star because it packs a little bigger than I��d like, but I was able to make it work in my 65 liter pack by strapping the polls on the outside of my pack. I weighed it at home and it is 4.6lbs (with tarp, polls, and stakes), which is really not to bad for a 2 person tent. I��d definitely recommend.

Have not had it out in the rain yet but seems to be a well made product for three season camping. I gave 'it four stars instead of five because the "ties" that hold the screen doors open are to small (short) the actually use.

We were able to compare the Naturehike Mongar 2 side-by-side to several other tents of same basic design, price range, weight and features. The Mongar 2 blew them away and is without a doubt the best bang for the buck! It favorably competes with tents twice or more the price. Excellent fit and finish. Weight and dimensions are as advertised...which seems to be the exception rather than the rule as tents go. Highly recommended!

This little tent is amazing! I took her out on her maiden voyage to big bend national park last week. It got really windy one night I mean REALLY windy and she held up like a champ! I did use longer stakes than what she came with due to the sandy and windy conditions. It also snowed on us but we stayed dry and warm inside the tent. No leaks whatsoever. I am so impressed with this tent! I thought for sure the rain fly would rip off and go sailing through the air or we would get soaked but she held fast through several hours of high winds and snow. I definitely recommend this tent! I have named her little purple perseverance haha.

This tent is pretty heavy duty, I would say it's comparable to the msr hubba. I've had it unprotected over 12k in high wind and it has held up. If you are over 6 foot you will need to lay at angle. That is my only complaint. I'm right at 6 foot and nearly touch both ends laying down.

Well, I've got to hand it to the guys at Naturehike. They really knocked it out of the park with this tent! Setting this tent up is ridiculously easy, especially if you watch their Youtube vids. I think all said and done, it took me 5mins to set everything up. The materials used on this tent are amazing; though I do wish the tub was 40D but the FREE footprint makes up for it. Every hook, clasp, buckle, and strap is well designed and well made! I love the fact that reflective material was used on these items as it makes setting up at night very easy. Inside, the tent is spacious! Large enough to fit 2 adults comfortably and still have room to spare! If your considering this tent...go ahead and buy it...you'll be happy you did!

Edit: this tent is AMAZING. was bone dry during a rain storm, super durable, even held up to my dogs scratching at the netting. I��ll never own another tent again. Easy to pack away, and fits nicely inside my pack, I only use 6 stakes out of the 10, and don��t use the footprint that it came with. The floor seems delicate but it��s not, it��s tough. Just got it today. Set it up in my yard. So far so good, PLENTY of room for me (5�� 125#) and my dog(50#) plus another person. The floor seems kind of thin but durable so far. Love the double doors and the purple! Will update my review once used.

Used 3 nights on Maui with rain and heavy gusts of wind. Two of us had room for ourselves and gear and stayed secure and dry!! The setup and tear down was easy and could be done by one person. I stayed warm with a sleeping pad and 20 degree sleeping bag when temps dropped to 45. Also, bright and pretty for pictures.

As other reviewers mention, this tent compares favorably with much more expensive tents. For comparison, I have an REI half-dome (budget) and a Big Agnes HV UL (premium). This tent feels higher quality and is lighter than the REI one, and is almost as nice as the Big Agnes one - which is very impressive. Zippers work smoothly and the coating on the rain fly repels water well. However, I mainly bought this tent for the color. MORE PURPLE TENTS PLEASE. The quality was a great surprise. I was also delighted to discover that the tent stakes are all bright purple as well with yellow cords attached. Bonus: this makes them easy to see in the dirt or sand. I love this tent and it's a joy to use.

As others note, this is a replica of the MSR HubbaHubba, for a third the price, and includes the footprint. The DWR coating on the rainfly is great quality and seasoned a fairly heavy storm while keeping us dry. The poles seem to be decent quality, and can be replaced easily. The *only* issue I have with this product is the stakes it included. They are a overly-cheap, pot-metal reproduction of the MSR Groundhog Mini stakes, and bend/snap extremely easily. I'm replacing them with MSR stakes (about $2 each), but altogether this tent is fantastic value.

This is a great tent right around 4 pounds! That��s an incredible lightweight option for backpacking for the cost! You really can��t beat it! Comes with the footprint. Packs nicely and can be divided between 2 hikers at about 2 pounds a piece! My daughters shared this tent and there was room for one of their backpacks inside with them. I highly recommend this for a lightweight affordable backpacking shelter.

Honestly, I bought this tent because it was purple. I am a beginner backpacker. I have only slept in this tent in my backyard, but I did find it to be a very good tent. It is small and lightweight. I had no problems setting it up on my own. I kept the tent up all weekend and never did it get wet on the inside even with extremely dewy mornings. The rain fly did get wet and I do wish there was an easier way to get it to stay open when I was trying to get out in the morning because it basically soaked me, but that may just take more experience on my part. The vestibule is nice sized and I love the doors on both sides. My husband and I slept in there together on the first night. The temperature got down to 40F and we were comfortable all night. The second night I slept in there by myself. It was definitely roomier without my husband, but even with both of us in it, there was plenty of room in the tent. It was easy to take down and fit right back into the stuff stack. I am very glad with my purchase. I am excited to see how it does when we go on an actual trip.

We got this tent for our upcoming camping trip in July, haven't camped since our college years so we were looking for something easy to set up and it has to be our daughter's favorite color, purple. Found what we were looking for and it is just as described. My husband and I set it up within 10 minutes and it is bigger than we expected, I would say it comfortably fits the three of us. It has entry on both sides and an extra netting inside for storage which we think it's pretty thoughtful.
